Financial hardships remain one of the greatest challenges facing many families, and these struggles often extend to the inability to afford essential household items. To help remove one of the barriers to making a house feel like a home, the Annex has established a large donation center where gently used clothing, small appliances, furniture, and household items are collected and redistributed to the community. Through this effort, valuable resources are recycled back into the community, providing practical assistance and hope to those in need.

Each visit to the facility requires a mandatory $7 door entry fee. This fee does not reflect the value of the items you receive. Items inside the facility are not priced and free.

We do not permit the resale of donated items.

We do no maintain a registered stock of items. All calls requesting information on current inventory will be redirected to visit the facility. Please do not call to avoid the $7 door entry fee.

CLOTHES

Our volunteers do their best to sort through the donations to ensure they are clean and lightly used. We understand that many of those visiting the Share Shop lack washing machines and creating a new expense is contrary to the mission of the free services provided. Therefore, we asked that all clothing items donated are in good repair, lightly used, and cleaned.

FURNITURE

We take in regular donations of furniture from all over the area of Washington. Almost daily some generous contributor is bringing in more items than we can often hold! We've been able to refurnish burned out homes, new movers, and those in desperate need of replacements down to the kitchen sink. Our staff and volunteers work hard to ensure that we do not distribute items that are in bad repair or infested.

APPLIANCES

Downsizing or upgrading there are many reasons we receive the blessings we do at the Share Shop. We have received refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, and many other manner units! We get the appliances to the Share Shop, you need only get it and go!
